God looked around his garden,
And saw an empty space.
Then he looked down here on earth,
And saw your loving face
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
His garden must beautiful,
Because he only picks the best.
A million times we'll miss you,
A million times we'll cry.
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a special place,
No one could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to loose you,
But you did not go alone,
or part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

Sometimes we view death as a bad thing - yet when we die, we will see the Savior who loves us more than anything else! We will be in front of the King of kings - the Lord of Lords. Why should we not look forward to death?
Have you done all that you can do for him? Will you stand there empty handed - knowing that you could have done more for Christ? Or are you looking for that blessed day, when you can see your Savior Face to Face.

Some day the silver cord will break, And I no more as now shall sing;
But oh, the joy when I shall wake Within the palace of the King!
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace;
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace.
Some day my earthly house will fall,I cannot tell how soon ’twill be;
But this I know—my All in AllHas now a place in Heav’n for me.
Some day, when fades the golden sun,
Beneath the rosy tinted west,My blessèd Lord will say, “Well done!”And I shall enter into rest.
Some day: till then I’ll watch and wait, My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Savior opens the gate,My soul to Him may take its flight.
